The Yoberts X GLEEM

OK, does anyone else have dirty secrets about how they travel? We’ll go first.

Our dirty secret is that *cue shame bell* we sometimes share the same toothbrush! GASP! Full disclosure: we’ve been together 10 years so it’s not really… that bad, but then again - it kind of is.

Backstory: [TL;DR We’re kind of gross and share our toothbrushes and make up excuses like they look the same or I forgot etc etc] When we first started dating in college we’d often go back and forth between the other’s apartments. Sometimes, without Cristian knowing, Corey would use his toothbrush when he’d forget his own. Fast forward some time and Cristian still hasn’t caught on until one late night, he gets back from a late night out with coworkers to find Corey in the bathroom using his toothbrush! After the initial shock, confusion, etc etc. it weirdly became acceptable in our relationship and we’ve since spiraled out of control.

Why you ask? We don’t know… We’d always buy the same 2-pack of brushes, or forget which shade of blue was the others, or one of us would forget ours on a trip.

Well no more! Consider us saved.

We recently started using two beautiful electric toothbrushes from a new brand called GLEEM. And BOY do we love ourselves some minimal, streamlined design. It comes in two colors, white & black, so bonus - no more “forgetting” whose toothbrush is whose or leaving one behind on a vacation. They’re literally too beautiful to leave behind!

The toothbrush itself is $25. Each one comes with an equally as nice travel case and it is ready to use straight out of the box. The GLEEM toothbrush is very slim and deceivingly weightless, especially considering it has a AAA battery hiding somewhere inside! Really though, the battery thing is big because who has time to also remember to pack a charger for their toothbrush!? If the battery ever dies, just pop in a new one. Same thing with the brush head. When it’s worn out you can simply pop another one on.

To use (and not share)

  1. Press the button

  2. Brush for 2 minutes

    • Wait for the pulse every 30 seconds to move to the next section of your mouth

  3. The GLEEM toothbrush automatically turns off after 2 minutes

  4. Your smile is S’CUTE and now you’re ready for the day (or bed!) (or… we don’t know)

So far we’re a couple weeks in and love using them. Their design lends themselves well to sitting out on our bathroom counter like lil’ statuesque angels.

Needless to say, we’re really happy with them. For their price point and all the little conveniences about them, they’re well worth the investment. If you’re interested in trying them out, you can find out more at https://gleem.com/.

xx
