Make It Gleem

We recently started using two beautiful electric toothbrushes from a new brand called GLEEM. And BOY do we love ourselves some minimal, streamlined design. It comes in two colors, white & black, so bonus - no more “forgetting” whose toothbrush is whose or leaving one behind on a vacation. They’re literally too beautiful to leave behind!

Staying Hydrated with Olay's Red Jar

We travel a lot! If you’ve ever traveled far from home, then you’ll know the dread that comes with realizing you’re miles away from your medicine cabinet and your skin regimen isn’t working. It can be the change of climate, lack of sleep, pollution, dehydration, you name it - your skin suffers! BUT WAIT! It doesn’t have to be like that.

We’ve been neglecting something…

It’s summer in like a week and we’re sitting here thinking… are we ready? Summer is arguably the best season, but it can be a lot of work to make sure you’re ready when it hits. Did Crossfit do what is was supposed to? How many vacation days do we have left? Did we book a rental car yet for that family trip in July? You know the drill.

We Married Now

Yesterday was the big day! We are officially Husband and Husband! Mr. & Mr. Yoberts* Ok, that’s not actually our married name. In fact, we chose to keep our ‘maiden’ names. Corey Roberts & Cristian Young.

The Final Countdown: March 8

We rented our U-Haul for pick up this AM, still mourning the loss of our big break with toyota, and along with the help of some strong friends, we managed to get all of the plants to the venue. It actually turned out to be a pretty chill day. Everything is mostly taken care of at this point, and we enjoyed some brunch with Corey's family.

The Final Countdown: March 7

As promised, we're almost there. Here's our quick updates

It's definitely going to rain on the wedding day... we've lost all hope! So we're going to buy some umbrellas and blankets as well as coordinate possibly a tent with the venue! Corey got his haircut, and Cristian will be soon to follow. Family is starting to arrive and tomorrow we're moving the plants to the venue (we rented a U-Haul)! Also, the Sam's Club plants arrived.

Birthday Boy Cristi

Happy Birthday Cristian!!!

Poor baby angel! Haha – His birthday happens to be 7 days before the big day and we’ve all been a little negligent on the planning side! No worries! We shall all take respite from wedding planning and celebrate the birth of Mr. Cristian!

Piecing It Together

We’re getting pretty close to the big day! EEK! Corey’s mom arrives this weekend to help with some of the last minute details, but otherwise we think we’re in a pretty good place. Corey finalized the Jackson Shrub order (we changed our mind on some things.. oops!) and we’re at the point where everything is ordered. Fingers crossed for the weather on March 10th because the 2 week forecast thing says it’s cold and rainy…

Tasting Some Crafty Cocktails

Words out! We booked Cali Craft Cocktails for our wedding in March and we couldn’t’ be more thrilled to have them serving for the big day! We just finished a tasting with them and we’re even more excited than we were before. Can it be March 10 already?

Saying "I Do" To Some Plants

We’re officially a month out from the wedding! OMG can’t believe it! It’s so crazy, etc. etc. etc! But really, can you beweave it?! We have a long laundry list of things to do however there’s one very important thing we haven’t done yet… PLANTS!

Breaking In The Tent

We’re off over the hill of LA to a lil place called Encino. We’re excited because it’s the first time we’re actually going to use the Tent Corey’s mom gave us for Christmas/ our Wedding!

When Do We Stand Up?

Remember that time we literally said Wedding Planner Schmedding Planner? Yeah… we get it. We really do. There are so many details to figure out for any wedding already and it seems like a complete extra set of decision to consider for a gay wedding!

5 Tips for Designing With Your Lover

Relationships can have their ups and downs. We know after 8 years of living, traveling, breathing, existing together that they involve a lot of different commitments to keep everything progressing forward. Now we ain't no relationship experts, so we won't be touting that sort of advice. However, we do feel that often times there is one thing that people don't talk about that often. Moving in with someone.
